Managing Partner at Phi Capital Partners
Federico Bartzabal has developed solid practical experience in capital markets, structured financing, and M&A, working with companies in sectors such as retail, agribusiness, financial services, industrials, and logistics. Over his career, he has led regional investment banking teams and participated in more than 50 transactions, including over USD 400 million in bond issuances and multiple buy-side and sell-side processes.

Before joining Phi Capital Partners, Federico was part of the Deloitte Corporate Finance team in Madrid and later held leadership positions at Puente in Paraguay, serving in Capital Markets and M&A from 2015 to 2022. His international academic training in business and finance complements his hands-on experience advising business owners, strategic investors, and regional funds.

A Uruguayan national, Federico holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Universidad Católica del Uruguay and a Master’s in Finance from IE Business School (Spain). He is fluent in Spanish and English and enjoys global market analysis and travel.
