Beacon Successfully Completes Sell-Side Mandate of a Signage System Business

Beacon Advisors is pleased to announce the completion of the sale of a patented signage system business to a private buyer group.

Commencing the mandate in January 2023, the Beacon Transaction Team received multiple offers and letters of intent by Summer 2023. The Team negotiated an exclusive offer with the current purchaser in July 2023. This was followed by a few months of due diligence, where the business upgraded its financial reporting and negotiated a lease for the property with the purchasers. The Beacon Transaction Team facilitated the negotiation of the purchase agreement and transfer of intellectual property between the buyer and seller. The deal concluded as an asset transaction.

About the business
The company manufactures unique, patented proprietary tools to hang indoor signs or decor from the ceiling without climbing a ladder. Well-established leading retailers across North America and internationally continuously use company products. The company operates out of its facility.

About the buyer
